# Goliath 1.0.0
First public release.
Goliath is a large community portal look for RaxBoard: a white top bar with a
two-line wordmark and a wide search field, a full-width navy navigation strip
under it, flat cards with a firm separator under every card head, dense
table-style rows and a full-width navy footer. Headings are set in Archivo,
text in IBM Plex Sans and details in Red Hat Mono. Dark mode is deep navy on
every surface rather than simply inverted.
## Layout
- **Header** — the logo or the board name with the board description as a
small second line, a wide search field, an outlined "Log in" and a filled
"Register" button. The navy strip below carries the navigation with icons;
the current page gets a lighter tint and a bottom bar, and items that do not
fit move into a "More" menu. The light / dark switch and, for members, the
notification bell sit at the right end.
- **Home** — three board statistic cards, the page title with "New posts" for
members, and category cards with a ring dot, a forum count and a collapse
toggle. Forum rows are dense: an icon tile that is filled while the forum has
unread content (a lock for closed forums), a "NEW" badge, a one-line
description, sub-forum chips, thread and message counters and the last post
with avatar, title, date and the role-coloured member name. The sidebar holds
a guest welcome card on navy and your widgets, and a four-cell statistics
strip closes the page.
- **Thread list** — crumbs on the page background, a header card with Watch and
New thread, a filter bar where the active filter is a filled green pill,
dense thread rows with filled prefix badges, unread dots, replies and views,
and the last poster. Pinned threads are tinted.
- **Thread** — a header card with the thread meta and actions, and an author
rail on the left: a large avatar with the online dot, the role-coloured name,
user title, full-width group banners, a three-cell stat box and the member's
details. Quotes get a tinted "said:" head, and the quick reply is a card with
its own toolbar row.
- **Profile** — a navy cover with a fine dot pattern, an identity card that
overlaps it, statistics and the About card, with the member's details and
tabs beside them.
- **Sign-in** — login and register share a two-pane dialog with a navy brand
panel showing real board statistics; captcha, terms, passkeys, the password
strength meter and the sign-in providers you configured are all kept.
- **Footer** — the brand column with the board description, link groups taken
from your sub-bar navigation, and a bottom bar with the style and language
pickers, RSS, the light / dark switch and back to top.
## On phones
- The top bar shrinks to the menu button, the logo, search, and square log in
and register buttons; the navigation strip moves into the drawer.
- Statistic cards stack, forum rows put the last post under the description,
the statistics strip shows two cells per row and the footer columns become
compact. Threads show the author as a band above the message.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels.
## Theming
- 111 style properties across brand, surfaces, header, navigation strip, forum
rows, category heads, thread list, widgets, author rail, footer and sign-in;
every one is wired to the stylesheet and every colour has its own light and
dark value and a colour picker.
- The admin Customizer is fully supported: live preview, 26 Goliath elements of
its own (top bar, navigation strip, page head, filter bar, statistics strip,
author rail, group banners, footer bar, sign-in panel and more) on top of the
core elements, and the layout options density, header, thread view, post
layout, motion, spacing, type scale, radius and sidebar position.
- Member style tweaks work: primary and accent colour, post layout, avatar
shape, corner radius, density, font size and colour scheme.
- Text sizes follow the member's font size setting.
- Readable colours (WCAG AA) in light and dark mode, including mention chips:
member mentions and group mentions such as everyone, staff or moderators get
their own colours.
- Theme texts ship in English, Turkish, French, Russian, Arabic, German,
Azerbaijani and Spanish.
- Every RaxBoard advertisement position and template hook is kept.
