2How we use it

  • Operating the service — displaying posts, delivering messages, managing your account.
  • Moderating the community and enforcing the terms and rules.
  • Sending account-related and (with your consent) optional notification emails.
  • Improving the service through anonymous usage statistics.
  • Meeting legal obligations and responding to lawful requests.

3Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and (optionally) collect anonymous usage statistics. See the cookie usage page for the full list and how to control them.

4Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers — hosting, email delivery, anti-spam — under appropriate data-processing terms.
  • Law enforcement — only in response to a valid legal request.

5Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, identifying information is removed within a reasonable time. Your posts may remain attributed to a deleted user so existing discussions stay readable.

6Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to:

RightWhat it lets you do
AccessSee the personal data we hold about you.
RectifyCorrect data that is inaccurate.
EraseRequest deletion of your account and personal data.
ExportDownload a copy of your data.
ObjectObject to or restrict certain processing.

Most of these are exercised from your account settings. For anything you cannot do yourself, contact an administrator.

7Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted password storage, HTTPS, access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfect; report security concerns directly to the staff.

8Children

This service is not directed to children below the age required by your local law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

9Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site.
