## Latest Threads 1.3.14
### The "Latest" tab can now follow activity, not just creation date
Until now the Latest tab listed only newly **opened** threads, so a busy
discussion that had just received a reply was nowhere to be seen. A new setting
under **Tabs → Latest Tab Sorting** chooses what "latest" means:
- **Last activity (includes new replies)** — the new default. A thread that was
just replied to returns to the top.
- **Thread created date** — the previous behaviour, if you prefer it.
A thread with no replies carries the same date in both fields, so a brand-new
thread still enters at the very top either way — the new default only *adds*
replied-to threads, it never pushes a new thread below an older one.
### Add any forum or category as its own tab
The widget's tab bar is no longer limited to the built-in tabs. Under
**Forum & Category Tabs** you can search for any forum or category and add it as
a tab of its own — up to ten. Each tab takes an optional custom title and icon,
and the tabs can be reordered.
Category tabs include the forums underneath them (a category holds no threads of
its own), and this can be turned off per tab. Board-wide excluded forums are
still honoured, and every tab respects the viewing member's node permissions, so
a private forum never becomes visible through a tab.
Any forum tab can also be set as the widget's default tab, and members can hide
or reorder them from the widget's own customise panel like any other tab.
### Fixes
- A member who hid or reordered a forum tab had that choice silently discarded
on save.
- Stale, unrecognised tab keys left behind in the saved configuration are
cleaned up during the upgrade.
