Stable — Theme

A new release is now available on the RaxBoard Marketplace.

Compatibility: RaxBoard >=1.9.7

What's new
Stable 1.1.17

Requires RaxBoard core 1.9.7 or newer, as before. Colours and settings you
changed are kept on update. Updating replaces this theme's own templates;
Custom CSS, style settings and logos are kept.

Added

- Member profile, Warnings tab (RaxBoard 1.9.8): every warning now has the
"Edit warning" button, as in the default theme. It shows only to staff with
the "Edit Issued Warnings" permission and opens the same edit window as in
the default theme. On RaxBoard 1.9.7 nothing changes, because editing an
issued warning arrives with 1.9.8.

Fixed

- Messages at the top of the page (for example "saved" or an error): they
close with the close button or with a click on the message, now also with
the strict Content Security Policy (CSP_STRICT=1). A link inside a message
no longer closes it. The close button is named "Dismiss" for screen
readers, and keyboard focus moves on when the closed message had it.

Changed

- Icons appear sooner: the page now asks for the icon font right away.
- The theme's Custom CSS ships without developer comments, like every theme
package built for RaxBoard 1.9.8, so the download is smaller. There is no
visible change. If you edited this theme's Custom CSS, your copy is kept.

Stable 1.1.18: lighter member profiles



Stable 1.1.18 is out. It fixes one thing on member profiles: the sidebar widgets (such as "Online in Last 24 Hours", "Recent Posts" and "New Members") were built twice on every profile page, once in the sidebar and once more in a hidden profile column. They are now built once, in the sidebar. Nothing changes on screen and the profile page is lighter. Your colours, settings, Custom CSS and logos are kept on update. Requires RaxBoard 1.9.7 or newer, as before.

Stable 1.1.19: readable profile text



Stable 1.1.19 is out. It requires RaxBoard core 1.9.7 or newer, as before, and keeps the colours, logos, Custom CSS and settings you changed. Updating reinstalls the theme's own templates; this update changes the member profile (profile/show), so back it up first if you edited it.

  • Member profile: in light mode, the member's "about" text in the dark profile header band used the page's dark text colour and could hardly be read. It now uses the band's text colour and reads clearly in light and dark mode; it follows the band colours you set in the style settings.
  • Moderators: on RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261025 or newer, the "Edit" button for a member's custom fields (profile, About tab) opens its window again after a theme update; on older builds nothing changes.

Stable 1.1.20: closed registration, counts that read right, titles that keep their direction



Stable 1.1.20 is out. It requires RaxBoard core 1.9.7 or newer, as before, and keeps the colours, logos, Custom CSS and settings you changed. Updating reinstalls the theme's own templates: if you edited them, back them up first. This update changes three of them, the "no permission" page (errors/no_permission), the header member menu (macros/layout/user_menu) and the thread heading (macros/thread/thread_header); the style sheet is unchanged.

  • Closed registration: the registration page now says "Registration Closed" instead of the general "Permission Required". RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261026 made this change on installed themes, but installing or updating the theme undid it; the theme now carries it itself. On older RaxBoard builds the page keeps the general heading.
  • Closed registration: the member menu (macros/layout/user_menu) hides its Register link when registration is closed, as on the rest of the board since RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261025. The Register button that Stable's own header shows to guests is not changed by this update.
  • Thread heading: the view and reply counts read right for one ("1 view", "1 reply") on RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261026 or newer; older builds keep the current labels.
  • Thread heading, right-to-left languages: a thread title written in another script keeps its own direction, as in the Default theme since RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261026.
