Fixes
- Renaming a resource left its linked discussion thread under the old name. When a category is configured with a discussion node, the thread created for a resource now follows the resource title — thread title and URL alike. Only a real rename triggers it: posting a resource update does not touch the discussion thread.
- On upgrade, resource/thread titles that had already drifted apart are aligned once. Every thread the step touches has its previous title and slug written to
rb_resource_thread_title_backup first, so the pass is reversible. - The alignment also refreshes the forum listing cache, the featured-content card, notification records and the search index.
- Boards on a
utf8 (utf8mb3) database could not run the upgrade. Title comparison is now charset-independent — the same fix that shipped in RaxBoard 1.8.1.
Note
RaxBoard 1.8.1 or newer is recommended: the title sync works together with the denormalization sync added on the core side.
