# RaxBoard Migrate 1.2.0
Migrate is RaxBoard's official importer: it moves an existing forum into
RaxBoard from the admin panel — no shell access, resumable, in safe batches.
This release replaces 1.1.21 and adds a second source platform.
## Added
- **WoltLab Suite Forum 5.2 – 6.x is now a supported source.** Pick "WoltLab
Suite Forum" in the wizard, enter the `wcf1_` database and the install path,
and the importer brings over members (with their passwords — WoltLab's
bcrypt hashes keep working), user groups, custom profile fields, avatars and
profile cover photos, boards and categories (with their icons), labels as
thread prefixes, threads, posts, attachments, polls and votes, private
conversations, reactions, follows, ignores, bans, profile-wall comments and
post edit history. Post bodies are converted from WoltLab's CKEditor HTML
(quotes, attachments, mentions, spoilers, tables, code, lists, links) to
RaxBoard BBCode. Original ids are kept, and the generated 301 rules cover
every WoltLab URL form (`forum/thread/…`, `forum/board/…`, `user/…`, with
or without the slug, `?postID=` permalinks) plus the static routes.
- **Profile cover photos** are imported for both platforms (XenForo profile
banners and WoltLab cover photos), re-encoded exactly like an upload.
- **Advertisements** are imported for both platforms into the matching
RaxBoard ad position, keeping their enabled/disabled state, and the CSP
allow-list is rebuilt so third-party ad scripts load right away.
- **Board settings** with a plain-text twin — meta description, e-mail sender
name and address, contact address — are carried over when RaxBoard still
holds the install placeholder.
- **Board icons** are imported (Font Awesome names carry across as they are).
## Fixed
- **Imports onto RaxBoard 1.9.0 boards.** The wizard mistook the built-in
Guest system account for content and recommended re-numbering, the forum
owner was merged onto that Guest row instead of the install admin, and in
"keep ids" mode the seed welcome thread pushed imported ids out of place.
All three are fixed for every source: the seed content is removed before the
import, the owner becomes the real admin, and colliding rows get an id above
the source range instead of shifting everything after them.
- Every imported member now has the same primary-group record a native
registration gets, so group member counts in the admin panel and group
promotions see migrated accounts.
- Thread slugs are generated by the core's own slug routine, so imported URLs
match what RaxBoard builds for the same title (accented letters included).
