RaxBoard Blog — Add-on
A new release is now available on the RaxBoard Marketplace.

What's new
# RaxBoard Blog 2.0.12
Requires RaxBoard core 1.9.1 or newer. Upgrade in place; articles, categories
and settings are kept. Showing blog articles in the home page featured
carousel needs core 1.9.6 or newer; on older cores everything else in this
release works.
## Added
- **Feature an article from the article page.** Staff who may feature
articles get a "Feature" button next to the byline. It opens a dialog to
feature or unfeature the article.
- **Blog articles in the home page featured carousel (core 1.9.6+).** In the
same dialog you can add a short excerpt and a card image (upload or link).
The article then appears in the home page carousel with a "Blog" tag and in
the "Featured content" widget. On older cores the dialog only switches the
article's featured state for the blog itself.
- **Articles you already featured are carried over.** On core 1.9.6 or newer
they are added to the carousel once, automatically, whether you update the
add-on or the core first. An article you later remove from the carousel
stays removed.
## Changed
- **Real author avatars.** Blog cards, the article header and the card grid
show the member's avatar instead of a coloured letter (the letter is still
used when there is no avatar). For an article made from a thread, it is the
thread starter's avatar.
- **Phones.** The sort bar, meta line and byline scroll sideways instead of
wrapping onto extra lines; on narrow screens the category list moves below
the articles.
## Fixed
- **Blog page wider than the screen on phones.** The blog index scrolled
sideways on a 375 px phone; it now fits the screen.
- Turkish: the "Latest articles" widget title was missing.
