What's new
RaxBoard Stories 1.0.0 — first release
Members share short-lived stories (image, video, YouTube or external image) that expire automatically after a configurable number of hours. A story bar with the familiar unseen/seen rings sits on the home page as a widget and can be placed anywhere from the widget manager; a full-screen viewer plays each member's sequence with progress bars, pause, mute, fullscreen, seeking, keyboard and swipe navigation, reactions and a comment panel with one-level replies.
Composer
- Share and edit stories in a modal (no page change) or on a full page with a live phone preview and drag-and-drop upload.
- Caption filters (regex or disallowed words), optional caption link, per-member story quota, flood control, optional approval queue and optional story rules that members accept once.
Privacy and permissions
- Per-member audience: everyone, registered members, only people I follow, or nobody; ignore and block lists are respected.
- 23 user-group permissions (view, view content, comment, react, upload, YouTube, external images, caption links, own/any edit, delete, undelete, approve, moderate comments, view deleted/moderated, bypass flood, manage).
Notifications
- Comment, reply, reaction, comment reaction, approval, removal and expiry alerts through the board's notification system, with e-mail and push preference toggles.
Advertising
- Five ad zones for the board's ad manager: under the story bar, above the stories grid, between grid cards, the single-story sidebar and a sponsored slide inside the viewer (every N members, configurable). "Stories" is also selectable as a page target.
Administration
- Story list with filters and search, moderation queue, deleted stories and hard-delete log, statistics, counter rebuild and manual sweep.
- Hourly scheduled task expires stories and purges soft-deleted ones after a grace period.
- 32 options, English and Turkish phrases included; works with every RaxBoard theme, light and dark, desktop and mobile; uses the board's native dialogs.
Requires RaxBoard 1.9.0 or newer.
