What's new
# Classifieds 1.0.0 — first release
Classifieds adds a classified-ads section to your RaxBoard community. Members post listings in a category tree you design, each category with its own listing types, fields, filters, photo rules and review mode; moderators work from a queue on the board itself. Fees and paid promotion through the Credits add-on and trade scores from the Trade Points add-on are optional. Classifieds is free.
## Posting and listings
- **Categories** — nested, with an icon, an accent colour and a description. Each category sets its listing types, currencies, durations, price, condition and location rules, photo limits, review mode and fees; sub-categories inherit what they do not set.
- **Listing types** — seven built in, from selling and renting to swaps, services and wanted ads, plus your own.
- **Custom fields** — 11 types, from text, numbers and choices to dates, colours and URLs; field groups, dependent fields, bulk import of choices, labels per language and a preview of the field on the listing form.
- **Photos** — drag-and-drop ordering and a cover photo. Photos are resized, turned upright and stripped of metadata (EXIF, GPS), and can be stored as WebP and watermarked.
- **Listing pages** — gallery, field values, price, location with optional map links, seller card, public questions and answers, similar listings, sharing, safety tips and product data for search engines; on phones the main actions sit in a bottom bar.
## Browsing and search
- Filters from the category fields with result counts, plus listing type, price range, condition, country and city, posting date, keyword and photos only.
- Sorting by newest, price, ending soon, most viewed or any number field; grid or list view; featured listings first and in their own strip.
- A page per seller with all their listings.
- Saved searches with an instant alert or a daily or weekly e-mail; saved listings with price-drop alerts.
## Buyer and seller tools
- Contact by private message that links the listing, or a phone number shown on request, with hourly, daily, per-listing and account-age limits.
- Drafts, the durations you allow, expiry reminders, renew, pause, move to the top with a cooldown, and mark as sold with the buyer's confirmation.
- Seller statistics: member since, active and sold listings, how often and how fast questions are answered.
- An account area for own listings, saved listings, questions and saved searches.
## Moderation
- A queue on the board for new listings (by default those of new sellers), questions and reports; approve or reject with a preset or written reason.
- Bulk approve, reject, delete, restore, feature and unfeature for up to 100 listings.
- Move, feature or restore a listing, with a full history.
- Question review for all questions, new members only, or off.
- Permissions per category and user group; group limits for active listings, new listings per day, duration and photos.
## Credits and Trade Points integration
- **Fees (Credits)** — categories can charge for publishing, renewing and moving to the top. Members see the fee and their balance first and confirm again if it changed. A member who cannot pay yet keeps a free draft.
- **Promotion plans** — members pay to feature a listing for a set number of days.
- **Refunds** — the fee of a listing that never went live is refunded when it is rejected or withdrawn; a failed refund is retried automatically or by an administrator.
- **Rewards** — Credits rules can reward listings that are published, sold, or featured by staff.
- Without Credits, fees and paid promotion are hidden; free moves to the top can still be allowed.
- **Trade Points** — the seller card and seller page show the trade score; after the buyer confirms a sale, both sides get links to rate each other and to record the deal.
## Widgets and board integrations
- Widgets: latest listings, featured listings, listing categories and my listings.
- "My listings" in the member menu, and "Listings to review" with a count for moderators.
- Admin dashboard tiles: items waiting for review, open reports, live listings and listings published in 7 days.
- Listings that guests may see are added to sitemap.xml.
- RSS feeds of the newest listings, for the section and each category.
- Reports on listings, questions and answers use the board's report dialog; moderators handle them in the Classifieds queue.

## REST API
- Bearer-key API under /api/v1/addon/raxboard/classifieds: categories, types and currencies; listings (search, create, edit, status); photos; questions and answers; saved listings and searches; sale confirmation; renew, move to the top and promote.
- Read and write scopes. A key acts with its owner's member rights.
- Creating, promoting and paid renewals or moves take an Idempotency-Key header, so a repeat is never charged twice; paid actions are refused if the expected fee changed.
## Privacy
- Members download their own Classifieds data (listings, questions, answers, saved listings, saved searches, fee payments) as a JSON file.
- Deleting or anonymising an account removes its listings with photos, questions, saved listings and saved searches; payment records stay without the member. Banned members' listings are hidden.
- Super administrators can erase a member's Classifieds data after a typed confirmation, also for a member deleted while the add-on was off.
- A deleted member's pending Credits refund is closed; any other pending refund is left to the administrators with an alert.
- Classifieds keeps no IP addresses in its own data: view counts and limits use pseudonymous keys that change daily.
## Admin tools
- An overview with listing counts, 30-day fee figures and a health panel for everything Classifieds depends on.
- A Listings screen with filters and bulk actions for up to 100 listings (approve, reject, feature, extend, move, delete, restore; permanent delete for super administrators after a typed confirmation), and a page per listing with its history, photos, questions and payments.
- A Questions screen with bulk actions; payments with filters, refunds with "Retry now" and "Reconcile with Credits", which lists differences and changes nothing.
- Tools: a starter kit of field groups, categories and fields; rebuilds of counters, seller statistics, photo sizes and search text; category tree repair; failed background jobs.
- Sample listings (up to 200 per run, photos optional) carry a "Sample" label, stay out of feeds, the sitemap and alerts, and go with one button.
- A "Before uninstalling" panel counts what an uninstall removes; the data can also be kept for a later reinstall. With many listings or photos, use the command line: php bin/raxboard addon:uninstall RaxBoard/Classifieds
- Screens for categories, permissions, fields, field groups, types, currencies, promotion plans, group limits and settings.
## Requirements
- RaxBoard 1.9.7 or newer: its content visibility checks keep a listing out of sitemap.xml and report pages for people who may not see it.
- PHP 8.1 or newer with GD (JPEG, PNG), json and mbstring; WebP and FreeType in GD and the intl extension are recommended.
- A writable data folder for photos, board attachments switched on, and the board's scheduled tasks running.
- Optional: Credits 1.0.0 or newer for fees and paid promotion; Trade Points 1.3.6 or newer for trade scores and deal links.
## Extra on RaxBoard 1.9.8 (used automatically)
- Images inside the listing description (while the board removes photo metadata, its default).
- The board's attachment addresses follow the listing's photo rules; only administrators can remove listing photos through its general attachment delete.
- sitemap.xml lists category pages, and listings with direct addresses and their own dates (1.9.7: short addresses that redirect).
