Kotton — Theme

A new release is now available on the RaxBoard Marketplace.

Version: 1.0.28 (build 10028)
Compatibility: RaxBoard >=1.9.7

What's new
Kotton 1.0.28

Requires RaxBoard core 1.9.7 or newer, as before. Colours and settings you
changed are kept on update. Updating replaces this theme's own templates;
Custom CSS, style settings and logos are kept.

Added

- Member profile, Warnings tab (RaxBoard 1.9.8): every warning now has the
"Edit warning" button, as in the default theme. It shows only to staff with
the "Edit Issued Warnings" permission and opens the same edit window as in
the default theme. On RaxBoard 1.9.7 nothing changes, because editing an
issued warning arrives with 1.9.8.

Kotton 1.0.29: profile widgets shown once



Kotton 1.0.29 is out. It fixes one thing on member profiles: the sidebar widgets (such as "Online in Last 24 Hours", "Recent Posts" and "New Members") appeared twice, once in the profile's own side column and once in the page sidebar. They now appear once, in the page sidebar; the profile's side column keeps its own cards such as About and Trophies. Your colours, settings, Custom CSS and logos are kept on update. Requires RaxBoard 1.9.7 or newer, as before.

Kotton 1.0.30: profile buttons and handle



Kotton 1.0.30 is out. It requires RaxBoard core 1.9.7 or newer, as before, and keeps the colours, logos, Custom CSS and settings you changed. Updating reinstalls the theme's own templates; this update changes the member profile (profile/show), so back it up first if you edited it.

  • Member profile on computers: the Message / Follow buttons floated at the bottom right of the window, over the page. On windows wider than 980 px they now sit in the profile header, at the right of the member's name, as they already did on smaller screens.
  • Member profile: the handle under the member's name showed the display name with its spaces and capitals. It now matches the members list and the profile address: lower case, words joined by hyphens.
  • Moderators: on RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261025 or newer, the "Edit" button for a member's custom fields (profile, About tab) opens its window again after a theme update; on older builds nothing changes.

Kotton 1.0.31: closed registration windows and titles that keep their direction



Kotton 1.0.31 is out. It requires RaxBoard core 1.9.7 or newer, as before, and keeps the colours, logos, Custom CSS and settings you changed. Updating reinstalls the theme's own templates: if you edited them, back them up first. This update changes two of them, the sign-in and sign-up windows (partials/auth_modals) and the forum list row (macros/layout/forum_node_row); the style sheet is unchanged.

  • Closed registration: when registration is closed, the sign-in window no longer shows the "Sign up" link, and the sign-up window says "Registration Closed" instead of showing the form, as on the rest of the board since RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261025.
  • Forum list, right-to-left languages: forum, sub-forum and latest-thread titles written in another script keep their own direction. On an Arabic page an English title is no longer cut at its start and its closing "?" stays at the end (and the other way round on a left-to-right page), as in the Default theme since RaxBoard 1.9.8 build 20261026.
