What's new
# Language packs — RaxBoard 1.9.7 (build 20261016)
832 new phrases per language, 88 phrases re-translated because their English changed, and 17 phrases the software no longer uses removed. As before, any phrase you reworded on your board after a previous import is left untouched.
- **Customizer element editor** (195 phrases): the field labels of the element editor (borders, spacing, colours, typography, layout), the live preview and publish messages, and the style tools (contrast check, style tweaks, style import).
- **Member accounts and the admin user editor** (135 phrases): the rebuilt user editor (status badges such as Unverified, Awaiting approval and Limited admin; setting a password; e-mail verification; active sessions and "sign out everywhere"; bans and spam clean-up; privacy settings), unverified members in the member lists, the moderators' member queue, two-factor messages and privacy request outcomes.
- **Profile Threads and Posts tabs** (97 phrases): searching a member's threads and posts, filters (forum, period, starters / replies, state), sorting by reactions, paging and the "search took too long" notice.
- **Thread prefixes** (65 phrases): the prefix designer (designs, icons, size, corner radius, preview), its error messages and the phone display option.
- **Data retention and inactive accounts** (54 phrases): the admin Data retention screen — deactivating, anonymising or deleting inactive accounts, keeping logs and IP addresses, restoring accounts — and the related notifications.
- **Upgrades and payments** (49 phrases): the members' "I have paid" bank-transfer notice and the admin queue that approves or rejects it, payment profiles and their notifications.
- **Polls** (42 phrases): creating, editing and closing polls, changing your vote, and clearer error messages.
- **Member blocking** (31 phrases): blocking a member, what a block stops (reactions, replies, profile comments, mentions) and the blocking options.
- **Stories** (37 phrases): tagging members in a story, its notifications and options.
- **Username repair** (30 phrases): the admin tool that repairs usernames created from social sign-in names.
- **Permissions** (23 phrases): super-administrator sections, navigation-entry conditions, forum permission bypass for groups and the new event and profile-post permissions.
- 74 more: Media Gallery album deletion, the hidden-BBCode inventory on the dashboard and locked content, add-on class extensions, admin safety notices (unsafe links, sanitised HTML, super-administrator-only options), scheduled-task names, moderation log reasons, editor image width and group-mention notices.
Re-translated because the English changed: the help texts of 20 permissions, the sign-in and two-factor screens, the forum layout descriptions, the add-on manager, log and upload texts, ban, custom-field and user-group messages, the thread-prefix design and colour labels, the user change-log columns, the widget positions page, the data-retention and "Enable Cron Tasks" options (now "Run Scheduled Tasks on Site Traffic (Web Cron)") and a few error messages.
Also fixed in this release:
- Deutsch (35 phrases): phrases that still used the informal "du" now use "Sie", and the webhook and developer-tools "Event" columns are translated consistently.
- العربية (6 phrases): the webhook and developer-tools "Event" columns, and the super administrator is consistently المدير العام.
- Azərbaycan: membership upgrades and group promotions no longer share one word ("Yüksəltmələr Ver", "Üzvlük Yüksəltmələri"); Media Gallery uses "albom" and "Media" throughout and addresses members politely.
- Türkçe, Azərbaycan, Русский, العربية: counted phrases now have both plural forms.
Removed: the old customizer colour settings (dark card, dark hover, dark border, tooltip background, sidebar width), a retired layout option, and the old names and help texts of four permissions.
Install this after updating core to 1.9.7 — the new phrase keys do not exist on an older core, so importing the pack there leaves them unused until you update.
