Events link in header showing up (and 404) when enabling option is disabled.

Hi team,

When I have disabled the "Enable Events" option in the admin area I'm still able to see the Events link in the header and, rightly so, getting a nasty 404 error page (not a polished one, consider this also) when I click on it.

Tested with v 1.9.8 in many styles.
