What's new
# Language packs — RaxBoard 1.9.6 (build 20261005)
653 new phrases per language, 37 phrases re-translated because their English changed, and 11 phrases the software no longer uses removed. As before, any phrase you reworded on your board after a previous import is left untouched.
- **Reporting system** (194 phrases): the new report dialog with report reasons and their descriptions (spam, harassment / abuse, hate speech, threats / violence, sexual content, fraud / scams, misinformation, copyright, personal information, needs correction, something else), priorities, the moderators' report queue (New / In review / Resolved / Rejected, assignment, internal notes, outcome, history, bulk actions), the admin Report reasons page and the members' "My reports" page with the moderators' decision.
- **Phone verification and sign-in codes** (198 phrases): SMS / WhatsApp verification at registration and on the account page, codes for sign-ins from a new device, remembered browsers, and the admin Phone verification options (Twilio, Netgsm, WhatsApp Cloud API, custom HTTP gateway, test send, delivery problems).
- **Social sign-in** (57 phrases): Telegram sign-in, the step-by-step OAuth setup guide, credential test and setup diagnostics.
- **Core update and integrity** (47 phrases): signed update packages, integrity-check failures, the pre-migration database backup notice, the maintenance-mode notice for administrators, the sealed-file notice, and the OPcache / signature-verifier rows of the server panel.
- **Permissions and user groups** (74 phrases): the readable group permission matrix, the forum and moderator permission editors, the privileged-group safeguards and the new "View edit history" permission.
- 83 more: stock user and group titles, Blog featured articles, avatar and cover upload feedback, forum description formatting, thread-prefix display, guest replies, editing a private-message reply, club chat errors and clearer AI error messages.
Re-translated because the English changed: the social sign-in option labels and help texts, the prefix colour labels and the report note field.
Also fixed in this release:
- Azərbaycan, Español, Français, Русский, Deutsch, العربية: the user-title ladder screen (18 phrases) was still in English, and the "Automatic user-title ladder" option and its help text still described the old trophy-points-only ladder.
- Azərbaycan: "user title" is now consistently "unvan" (some labels said "ad" — username — or "ünvan" — address).
- Français, Русский, Deutsch, العربية: the "Professional" AI writing tone was still in English.
- Русский: the mail / queue driver descriptions and the footer-links help text had lost part of their content.
- العربية: the HTML widget placeholder was still in English.
Removed: the old admin forum pages (removed from the software in 1.9.6), the old "report categories" option (replaced by Report reasons) and two Special Days fields removed in Special Days 1.2.1.
Install this after updating core to 1.9.6 — the new phrase keys do not exist on an older core, so importing the pack there leaves them unused until you update.
