In the Help Pages in the admin area I see one can add / edit the current ones. I see those pages are created with pure HTML but one nice alternative is if we could use the current BBCode editor for threads and replies in crafting these pages. The editor already has very nice options for formatting, tables, embed and so one, so it would be easier to create that contet.

Another thing I found is that there's an option to set the page as Help Article or Standalone page. It is easy to find the link to the help pages (/help) even here the pages are easily found but it isn't the same with the standalone ones. Just messing I found there are located in the /pages URL so if I create a standalone page named my-awesome-page, it resides in http://mysite.com/pages/my-awesome-page. Maybe in the future (for 2.0.0 👀?) the Help Pages admin section could be renamed to simply Pages and in the list of pages there could be an extra column to differentiate the help pages apart of the standalone ones. And maybe a direct link to them.

Or maybe creating categories of pages (like as forums) can be useful for grouping standalone pages of common content and so providing an almost true experience of a website.

Hope that helps 🙂
